Enjoyed a delightful dining experience at Syd's. Their appetizer, Party Shrimp, presented an array of delectable flavors. I selected the Fisherman's Platter, featuring a variety of seafood, while my companion preferred the Lake Erie Perch with fries. Syd's offered expertly mixed cocktails and decadent homemade desserts. The laid-back atmosphere contributed to a pleasurable evening.

I think that Syd's is the best place to buy fish and seafood at a restaurant in Erie, Pennsylvania. My group had perch, shrimp, haddock and cod. All were excellent.

The Best!!!! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They got us in immediately even though there was a wait list. We were traveling and had no idea how popular the restaurant is. The food was extremely delicious with huge portions. We will definitely be returning there when we visit again.

Syd’s is always a treat. Some of the best Lake Erie perch in town, and 3 others in my party gave thumbs up for their entrees and desserts. Server was great - attentive and efficient. If you’re looking for a special restaurant in Erie without taking a 2nd mortgage, syd’s is a great choice.

This was my first time visiting Syd's even though I have lived in Erie my entire life. The restaurant was understaffed the night we visited, but the two waitresses working were phenomenal. They were attentive, efficient, and patient with the crowd. Orders were taken promptly, accurately, and the food was served hot, fresh, and to order. The food was full of flavor and competitively priced. Definitely will be adding Syd's to our rotation of restaurants to visit

Took our Granddaughter out to eat, her choice. Syds Place is where we went and it was amazing! Service was terrific and food was absolutely delicious!!! Perch, coconut shrimp, crab cakes...Wonderful! If you have not been, you need to go.

After trying their sister restaurant we wanted to try here as well. They were busy but food was great(prime rib was amazing), and staff was trying their best and succeeded. Everyone helped everyone. Saw some of the same staff here that works at their other restaurant avantis!! They have an adorable patio to dine out on and that's where we chose to sit. To the gentleman with the recent review below us...we were on that patio with your party. Your server was out there numerous times as well as a gentleman to check on you. From hearing your loud conversation you all were more upset someone in your group couldn't be served any alcohol because she showed signs of already being over served elsewhere. Your server did her job by having to do that. She probably really didn't want to but had no choice. That is not hers or the restaurants fault. Don't leave bad reviews because of it. We will be back next weekend for dinner with family

Took us on a busy Saturday after a long hot day at Waldameer and accommodated our party indoors before a reservation arrived. Family of four with a 3 year old so it was very much appreciated. Ordered the kids fish, walleye, shrimp and scallops. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend.
